ANNA HARRISON

Anna graduated in July 2019 from the University of Manchester, where she studied a MusB (hons) in Music. In her degree she focused on musical analysis, solo and choral singing, and participatory music facilitation.

Since graduating she has been working as a freelance participatory musician and music teacher in a variety of settings. She has been able to work and volunteer with a range of charities, such as TiPP when taking music into prisons, and Streetwise Opera (an organisation which works with people who have experienced homelessness to perform pieces from operas).

Anna also spends a lot of time working with children of all ages, from Early Years music groups to one-to-one singing lessons with A-Level students. She can be found singing in the newly-established Manchester Vocal Ensemble and other choirs across Manchester.

Outside of music, Anna is passionate about working to combat the climate crisis, as well as sewing, knitting, and cooking delicious food.
